​​OK ACT TEAMS

We have many ways for you to be involved!


Animal Rescue Team (ART):

Those who have completed required training as  outlined within the OK ACT Articles of Association and who wish to participate in full disaster preparedness classes, trainings, exercises and actual response events.

Volunteer Operations Team (VOT):

This team consists of individuals who cannot, or do not wish, to participate in the active response but who wish to participate in limited response duties, dog searches, public outreach or other volunteer positions.  

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission in search and rescue is to locate, provide basic animal first aid and transport animals (primarily canines) to pre-designated staging areas in the event of a disaster.


​OK ACT is a non-membership, volunteer organization dedicated to preparing for and recovering from emergencies which directly affect animals in the State of Oklahoma.

 is a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
