Team One:

Animal Rescue Team (ART)

Those individuals who have completed required OK ACT training as outlined within the Team Guidelines, make up the Animal Rescue Team (ART). These members of ACT have been trained and badged by the OKMRC and are able to participate in full disaster preparedness classes, trainings, exercises and actual response situations. Only those certified members of ACT are allowed to take part in direct disaster response and special training. The ART operates under the guidelines of the Incident Command System (ICS) as well as National Incident Management System (NIMS) as established by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Team Two:

Volunteer Operations Team (VOT)

This team consists of individuals who cannot, or do not wish to, participate in the active response, but who wish to be active members of the OK ACT Team. Individuals taking part on the VOT participate in limited response duties, public outreach, educational opportunities and other volunteer positions.

Supporters & Sponsors

These are individuals, organizations, or businesses that fall outside of direct OK ACT involvement who support the organization’s mission, attend public events, help in the promotion and fundraising aspects, and are involved on general participation levels, and or contribute to the operation of OK ACT. Though not directly involved in the ART or VOT, those who fall in to this category are afforded benefits of association with OK ACT.
